Minnesota Hockey District 16

With a great weekend of hockey behind them and finishing in 3rd place, the District 16 boys found out on Tuesday May 1st who moved on to the Summer Camp in July in St.Cloud.  As a coach I really believed that all of our players could have moved on but I know that with all the talent at this age group (1997) that was going to be difficult.  Having 11 players picked and another picked as an alternate is a great accomplishment for the boys but the entire team helped the ones that were selected to move on.  Great job boys and good luck to all of you.

Letters will be sent out this week (February 10th) to boys born in 1997 that have been nominated by their coaches.  The letter will contain try-out information such as dates and times.  It will also give a brief description on how the try-out process works.  Players will be expected to attend all scheduled ice times, meeting etc.  Travel has been considered during the scheduling of ice times etc to try and make sure it's not to overwhelming for anyone.
